2023 WINTER YOUTH PROGRAM OFFERINGS






Outdoor Story and Activity Time - Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Join youth librarian Amanda Otto for stories, songs, crafts and activities! Stay after for snacks and active play on the swing sets, sandbox and fields for hiking and birdwatching. All are welcome! We are currently meeting on the 3rd floor of the Willey Building.
NEW Dungeons and Dragons – Tuesdays - 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (ages 11+)
Come play D&D after school with friends - Snacks provided - All are welcome!

NEW! STEAM Program - Starting Wednesday, January 25th - Wednesday, February 22nd - 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. (ages 11+)
Explore topics in science, technology, engineering, art/design and math through a hands-on approach. Participate in friendly competitions with friends. Snacks are provided.

StoryWalk - January - Mid March Cabot Library Play Structure
Cabot's current StoryWalk features the book Sleep Tight Farm written by Eugenie Doyle and illustrated by Becca Stadtlander. This story will be posted on the fence surrounding the play structure.
The Night Sky - Coming Soon– Cabot Rec Field Pavilion
Join Mazie O’Connor and Amanda Otto as we look through the library’s new telescope at the night sky. We will pick the best weather day and announce it on our website and Front Porch Forum.

Starting Mid Feb - Community Service Program - Day TBD (ages 14-18)
Fulfill your H.S. Community Service requirements at the library! Help shelve books, re-stock take-home kits for kids, tutor kids during H.W. Help, assist the youth librarian during clubs and more. To register, email amandaotto.cabotlibrary@gmail.com
